L3Harris Technologies played an essential role in the NASA Artemis II mission to take humanity back to the moon in April. The Orion spacecraft blasted off with 40 avionics units developed at L3 — critical to the launch, steering, safety systems, telemetry data collection, communications, and so much more — all designed, built, and tested by a team of 150 engineers right here in Mason.
